How do I know your surveys are legit? I am interested in making a little extra money, but don’t want to get a bunch of junk email and waste a lot of time for nothing.

I make it a point to list only quality paid survey panels on this site, you know ones that are actually worth the time to join. That is why I don’t list hundreds of sites like the other survey sites out there. As for junk email, the panels on listed on this site are pretty good about only sending you survey request, and unless they have survey for you to take, they don’t bother you.
The good thing about the market research firms listed on this site is that they generally tell you the estimated time the surveys will take and the incentive offered. This allows you to decide whether or not the survey is worth taking. The important thing to remember is that online survey panels are just a way to make a little extra cash, it will not make you rich. So just keep reasonable expectations and at least try to join the first few survey panels on the top earners list on the home page to see if taking paid surveys online is something you want to try.
