They send reasonable surveys that usually do not take more than 20 minutes to take, and they offer incentives that usually range between $2 and $5 dollars per survey. I have been getting about one to two survey invitations per week recently, which is pretty good as far as survey panels go. The only drawback is that you must first answer a few questions to see if you qualify for the survey. Unlike GlobalTestMarket they do not usually offer any incentive unless you actually qualify and complete the survey. Nevertheless, it still one of the better paid survey panels out there, and I have been paid by these guys. I definitely recommend them, and would be interested in Your Thoughts?

I think that Opinion Outpost is a rip off. They ask you plenty of questions, somethimes up to 25 minutes of your time and then tell you that you did not qualify … hence you get NOTHING! Don’t waste your time on this one! When I complained, twice, about really getting taken, they did NOTHING.

not all surveys pay if you don’t qualify. opinion outpost is one of them, but it’s not a waste of time. some surveys only offer random drawings for cash if you finish. so what’s worse? demographics play a big part in whether someone qualifies. it’s really no biggie. i’ve been dis-qualified, more than qualified, but still have been paid plenty since joining. it’s free money.

My spam email increased by about 3 times what it was before signing up. I also spent several minutes on some surveys giving answers to many questions other than the standard age, sex, income level questions (had to answer those too) only to get a NOT QUALIFIED. For all of the time that I spent I was only up to $2.50 and quite. I am sure that they, or the survey customers, will continue to sell my email for a long time to come. I figure that I would have made less than $5/hour to continue to participate, It is NOT free money, unless you don’t value your time at all. It is definitely not worth the hassle!

Interesting, because I have never received any spam email as a result of joining opinion outpost, just survey request. Yes, you sometimes get the boot after answering a few qualifying questions, but that is rather typical of most survey panels as they need to narrow down their audience for their study. Most of the Opinion Outpost surveys pay between $2 to $10 per survey, and can be completed in 20 minutes or less, and it only takes about 2 minutes to see if you qualify. Whether or not its worth the time is a personal call, but I have had pretty good luck with Opinion Panel, and have made money from the panel. This site is not well paid and they will waste alot of your time asking for alot of information and THEN tell you that you did not qualify and that you get NOTHING! If you like working for free, this is the spot for you!

Everyone is entitled an opinion, that is why I call this an open forum. I always enjoy getting feedback on the survey panels I list, good or bad. Sorry for those that have had bad experiences with Opinion Outpost, but many readers have made money with this listing, and I myself have cashed several checks as a result of surveys taken at this site.
Again it is a free site to join, and all I can say to potential new Opinion Outpost Panel members is take a few minutes to try it out, and if you like it great, and if you don’t then there are many other good survey panels to choose from.

I just got turned down for a survey, but so what? You win some, you lose some, and some just get away from ya.
In this day and age of instant gratification, we want what we want and we want it yesterday. We got our high-speed Internet, microwave ovens, etc., etc.,….and etc. We want to get paid for each and every survey we take, but that how ain’t the game is played.
I rememorize back in the old days–way, way back before Al Gore invented the Internet, back when computers were powered by horses***, that ‘online surveys’ were unheard of. We old-timers had to scrape by selling coke bottles and the lucky ones who could–sold their own bodies. So this is like Paradise to me. You young whippersnappers just don’t know how good you have it.

I am pretty sure that the folks who say positive things about opinion outpost are employees of opinion outpost. Most of their “surveys” if you even qualify after about 20 minutes of answering questions, only pay $1.00. They are a rip off!!!!

I like all of the feedback, Oil Can Harry you are a hoot! Like the way you put things in perspective. Well like I said before everyone is entitled an opinion, but I do not like the acqusations about people giving false reviews and comments; no slamming please. I can definitely say I am not an employee, and I have received check payments for completing surveys, just check out my Opinion Outpost review page&
Each Survey Opinion Outpost lists cleary indicates the time required and the number of points offered (10 points = $1).
Most usually pay more than just a dollar if you qualify. Here is a sample survey invitation that I received yesterday
and DID QUALIFY FOR; payout was $4.50 (45 points) and it took me about 20 minutes to complete.

Like Site Admin (that’s an interesting name; don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone named that before; kinda nice) I like all the feedback.
Survey Mom said something about if peeps like working for free, wasting time, a rip-off, etc., etc.,…..and etc.
The thing about taking surveys is that there is at least the POTENTIAL of making money, whether or not you actually get paid for each every one you participate in.
I’d like to ask the naysayers if they’ve ever worn T-shirts, caps, etc., etc.,….and etc. with a company’s logo on it? If you have, did the company pay you for advertizing their product or service? I didn’t think so. Big-name sports stars and other celebrities get paid millions for endorsing their products, simply by wearing them. Has Coca-Cola or Nike ever offered to pay you a dime? Nope. In fact, when put on that T-Shirt with their logo on it, you are in fact, paying them to advertize their product. Meanwhile, they’re laughing their capitalist asses off all the way to the bank, because they win two ways–free walking advertizing on your part, and money in their grubby little hands when you shell out your hard-earned cash to wear the funky T-shirt and cap.
Asinine, huh?
So again, I ask you—what’s more of a waste of time, and who gets ripped-off the most–me taking a survey earning something a lot of times, or you earning nothing at all?

Ahhhh, basking in the after-glow, and awash in cash. Life is good. The mailguy just came to a rolling stop in front of my urban paradise and crammed yet another $9.80 check from Opinion Outpost in my mailbox. I now have two uncashed checks from them. Which means, they pay regularly, since the checks have to be cashed within 90 days. I know, I can hear some of you peeps muttering, “so…why haven’t you cashed them checks, Mr Oil Can Harry?…..HMMMMMM? Scared they’re gonna bounce????” Nope. Just too lazey to get off me ass and go to the bank.
You see….I don’t like to work. In fact, I abhor it. I used to be upwardly-mobile, just like a lot of you, but then I had an epiphany one day while passing the cemetery. Looking at all the tombstones, I said to myself, “Self, do you realize all those dead folks out there worked for livings during their lifetimes? So ever since then, I only do as much as I absolutely have to do.
The moral of the story is: Whoever said a little work never killed anybody has never been to a cemetery.

I worked a number of surveys for a good number of months already. I accumulated up to 519 points. Since each point is divided by $10.00 I did earn up to $51.90
Now I noticed they say my e-mail address is invalid when I try to log on. Are they locking me out intentionally? If this persists, I will have an IT professional and legal team check into the validity of their practices.

They must be having some sort of software glitch, because I also noticed the same problem this morning. I will look into it and post my findings later today. I don’t think they are intentionally locking anybody out, they have always been a pretty good survey site to deal with.

Opinion Outpost is definitely not a spam! I’ve been using it for a while and I just received my first check of $22. I asked for the check about a week ago and I was shocked when I saw it in the mail. Now, I must agree that it is gets very annoying sometimes when you have to pre-qualify for certain surveys, but lately I’ve been qualifying more often and the surveys are well worth my time. For example, I took a $9 survey the other day and it took me 25 minutes…… I think that’s well worth my time.
I have been on and off with Opinion Outpost so it took me 3 months to get my $22 but I would have gotten it sooner if I’d checked my mail and if I took all of the available surveys.

I AM A PROUD MEMBER OF OPINION OUTPOST!!! I”VE BEEN A MEMBER EVER SINCE I WAS 18. AND I’M 21 NOW… I WAS LOOKIN FOR PAYING SURVEY AND OUT OF ABOUT FILLIN OUT 20 FORMS WITH MY INFO AND FILLING OUT VARIOUS SURVEYS, THEY WERE THE ONLY ONE WORTH SPENDING TIME ON. i HAVE CASHED AUT MORE THAN 10 CHECK RANGING FROM 50-120 DOLLARS!! IT MAY NOT SOUND LIKE MUCH BUT A LITTLE EXTRA CASH CAN NEVER DO BAD. WHENEVER I SEEMED TIGHT- JUST GO TO THE BANK AND CASH OUT… HAHAHA ITS A GOOD WAY TO SPEND FREE TIME. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO COMPLAIN, WELL I THINK YOU ALL SHOULD GET A REAL JOB BECAUSE THEY OBVIOUSLY AREN’T GONNA PAY YOU 6 DOLLARS AN HOUR IF YOU DON’T QUALIFY!! I LOVE THIS SITE AND RECOMMEND IT- NOT AS A HIGH PAYING JOB OF COURSE, BUT A WAY TO GIVE YOU’RE OPINION ABOUT STUFF LIKE MOVIES (i recently took one on the bee movie and they used one of the comercials we gave our opinion about) cars, clothes, yes-name brands (and i think these companies give them some money to use thier site) AND MORE- SO JOIN TODAY

I cannot believe some of the people on here say the only positive remarks made about opinion post must be made by employees of the site!! Come on there are way, way worse sites out there than this one! In general it is rare to get asked many many questions before being rejected (other survey sites are much worse)and you do get paid to take the surveys you do finish! (there are some that do not even do that!) so stop with the conspiracy crap this is NOT the place for it. If you do not like the site say so, and state why. After that move on. Oh and as far as spam? Give up stating that you got it from Opinion Outpost cause it does not come from them guaranteed! I am part of a study for spam, we run “bare naked” on the net trying to get spammed! We then use a program that traces SPAM to it’s source by tracking unique e-mail addresses. (Most comes from Asia), at any rate I never received any spam coming from the e-mail address (unique)I used for Opinion Outpost!

I’ve already reviewed here but after reading some of the unbelievable posts here I have to rethink my review. NOT! Yes I have had some long surveys that paid nothing because I did not qualify. It is unfair for surveys to do this, but never has one of them been a direct opinion outpost survey. I cannot believe you people have no clue who you are doing surveys for. It just shows you are ripping through them as fast as you can without regard for the answers. Alan, give us a break, seriously! you unfortunately are a perfect example of the type of sue happy people that make things bad for the rest of us. And finally the people who whine about SPAM, another senseless statement. Look elsewhere for the cause of your spam, like signing up for free iPods, TVs etc and then realizing it is not what it seemed. Too bad you give out your e-mail address so freely. I have been doing a lot of surveys and I found opinion outpost is by far the best one. I have not cashed in yet and my balance is 247.40 not bad. Saving to get a new laptop with my earnings. I get emails from a lot of others and have a large amount of rewards in those accounts. My total for about five or six accounts is over 600 dollars. There are many that I would stay away from that just dont pay worth a crap. Try synovate its a good one

This one is one of the best! I have been a member of 4 survey sites for the past two months and Opinion Outpost sends me the most surveys (usually around 10-12 per week). For ones that say it will take 45 minutes but only pay $2, I skip it! But most take 20 minutes or less. So far I’ve made $45 in two months. The others sites I’ve made $10 or less from in the same amount of time.
