A Few Words about American Consumer Opinion
March 13, 2007Despite the name, American Consumer Opinion accepts international participants. I have had pretty good results with this panel, and can vouch for their claims of $4 to $50 dollars per survey. I have taken a couple of suveys that have paid over $30 dollars, and have recieved numerous surveys that have paid in the $4 to $10 dollar range. Their surveys are well written, and the compensation is good for the time required.
Like most panels, they send a screener survey that usually takes less than five minutes to take, and if you are what they are looking for you are invited to complete the survey for the stated cash reward. If not, you are entered into a sweepstakes drawing so its not a complete waste of time. The only drawback to American Consumer Opinion is that they do not send out many survey invitations, however I have noticed an increase in the quantity lately. If you are already a panel member, please leave feedback about your experiences with the panel. If you are not a member and interested in joining, you can get more information and link on my American Consumer Opinion Panel Review Page.

Just got a $25 survey from American Consumer Opinion on Software interoperability, think is was hosted by Microsoft, because most of the questions revolved around WIndows, Exchange Server, and Outlook. Pretty quick survey, less than 20 minutue, and actually fairly interesting. Looks like Microsoft is trying to gauge interest in open-source software integration with their products.

I like ACOP. They pay well considering the amount of time it takes to fill out the survey. I find most of their surveys very interesting also. I only get about one survey a month though; I wish I would get more. Overall, I like them alot. I would recommend them.
