Greenfield Online, an online survey panel that provides feedback for more than 300 market research firms, is hosting a Pigskin Pick’em NFL football contest eligible for all of its panel members. Registration is free, and members can make their picks for each of the NFL games for the upcoming week. Each week your rank will be determined by the number of winning teams you pick, and a tie-breaking procedure as follows: picking the the number of points scored by both the home team and visitor team on Monday Night games (except week 17 which will have a Sunday Night Game). All picks must be made before the deadline which is clearly posted each week on the site.

Once you become a member you can create private pools where you and your friends have a private competition, while still competing in the larger contest and still eligible for prizes. The site even has an area for Trash Talk where you can heckle other group members.

So what’s up for grabs:

• Grand Prize: $500 cash for the first place finisher overall
• Monthly Prizes:
  • $150 cash for 1st place finisher each month regardless of overall standing
• Weekly Prizes:
  • $75 -1st place
  • $50 2nd place
  • $25 3rd place
  • awarded weekly for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each of the 17 weeks regardless of overall standing

You can enter to play any time during the season, but its best to get in early for more chances to win. The contest is limited to Greenfield Online Members who are age 18 or over and are legal residents of the United States. Please see the official site for the complete set of rules for game play.
