While we think we have a done a pretty good job finding good survey panels for our readers to review in our user reviews blog, we decided to hand the microphone over to our newsletter members to see what they thought. Just to make things interesting we decided to make a contest out of it and give away some cash rewards for the best reviews. The basic rules of the contest were to write a review of a good survey panel that was not already listed on our reviews blog. For all of the contest rules please refer to our newsletter members contest page. Here are winning reviews we received.

     There are a number of excellent survey sites that are worth your time and effort to join. The pay off on those sites is exceptional. Next there is a second tier of sites that are definitely worth joining but the pay out is not on par with what I call the best of the best. I include Valued Opinions in the second tier. Valued Opinions offers good quality surveys that take about 20 minutes or less to complete. You can expect to be paid about $2 per survey and once you have earned $20 in your account you can exchange your reward for a gift certificate to such sites as Amazon, Macys and iTunes. You will receive a couple of survey invitations each week. I would rate their customer service above average. Valued Opinions is a good solid site that offers a fair reward for the time you invest.

  3. Carrie’s BuzzBack Review:
     This is one of my top 3 survey panels that I belong to. I have been with BuzzBack for about 4 years now and have done tons of surveys for them. I think this should DEFINITELY be added to the user reviews site. They are always consistent, pay well, offer interesting surveys and never have any problems with their surveys. Their Quality of Surveys is Outstanding! I have never had any problems with the surveys losing connection or not being available for any reason at all. This is only one of two companies that I can honestly say that I can say that about. BuzzBack’s compensation plan is Outstanding as well! They pay with a check directly to your mailing address. To make it even easier for a panelist, each time you complete a survey that you will receive some monetary incentive for, they always double check your address.This is perfect for the person who is a nomad or moves alot (like I have in the past). I have always received a cash incentive for surveys and more often then not, actually qualify to complete the surveys. I would say that 8 out of 10 surveys they have offered me, I qualified for and have been compensated for. The frequency of surveys is pretty steady, but the number varies. I get anywhere from 2 to 10 a month. Every once in a while I will get more than 10, but usually 4-6 is average it seems. BuzzBack pays via mailed check and they have usually a 30-45 day turnover for checks. This is industry standard or better. I get a separate check for each survey that I earn. They don’t have a minimum to redeem or anything. You do not have to do anything to get your check either, they simply mail it. No redemption requests or anything needed. Member area and support is something I haven’t had a lot of experience with because I do not ever encounter issues with their surveys or their payment. They do keep good communication via email and they offer a place you can comment on the surveys or a place that you can leave comments for them or contact them. The surveys for this company are very interesting and easy to maneuver. They usually involve graphics or video clips and are very up to date and high tech. I almost always feel that the surveys I do for this company are adequately rewarded for the time involved, of course there are always a few that seem to take forever, but mostly they are great! I really enjoy working with this panel and think anyone else would as well.

  3. Kandace’s Harris Poll Online Review:
     They give you point for every survey, except for the surveys aimed at kids. Qualifying is easy and you qualify for most of them. You build points (HiPoints) and redeem them for prizes(gifts).They have sweepstakes too where you can win from $50 to $10,000. Most of all joining is free. When you trade in your HiPoints your incentive arrives within 2 weeks. I think it is well worth the time to join their survey panel.

  2. Jim has been a HCD member for approximately 1 year.
  3. Jim’s HCDSurveys.com Review:
     HCD Surveys is a somewhat different survey site compared to the other sites you are familiar with. Instead of offering your opinion on a new snack food or label design, HCD Surveys is more focused on current events and political issues. Generally, you will be asked to watch a brief video clip featuring comments by an elected official or political candidate and then you will be judged on your reaction and opinion. The surveys are less than 15 minutes and the pay out is between $1 and $5. Once you collect $10 you can cash out, if you like. Customer service and timeliness of payment have been above average. While you won’t get rich, HCD Surveys offers you an opportunity to put a little jingle in your pocket and also provides a refreshing, interesting change of pace from the monotony of the other survey sites.

  2. Carrie Anne has been a Zoom Panel Member for 5 years.
  3. Carrie’s Zoom Panel Review:
     I have been a member of Zoom Panel for nearly 5 years. I have really only been active for the past two years. I have had 5 payouts in the past 23 months. Zoom Panel rewards you for taking surveys by giving you points. Even if you do not qualify for the entire survey, you get 5 points for even trying to attempt the survey. When I do qualify, I typically receive 50-100 points for a 15 minute survey. You redeem the points for various items. I typically receive 10-15 Surveys a month, but lately it has been as high as 25 surveys. In fact, I have almost made enough in one month to cash out with the lowest reward, if I desire. It is constantly getting better! The surveys are always interesting. I have been able to see several new products before they hit the shelf, advertisements, commercials and the like. You get to offer your opinion on a variety of topics. The surveys rarely freeze or encounter errors. Receipt of rewards has always been fast. I received my last reward in two weeks. I have never had to contact the member support for anything in five years, but they do offer a link to support option in every survey and on their main website. Zoom Panel is a great panel to belong to if you like getting items/rewards for your opinions. They don’t offer cash, but you do get rewarded adequately. I would highly recommend this company as an 8 on a 10 point scale.
