I have been using online income opportunities alot this past year, since I became a stay at home mom. I have never been much into the paid to click or paid to sign up realm, but there is one paid to sign up site that I found particularly easy to make money. Fairy Tale Treasures - http://www.fairytaletreasure.com/members/register.php?ref=dansgal
I have made over $65 in the course of 2 months and that isn’t really even doing much either. Under an hour worth of work. None of these required money either or to put in my credit card. You can also earn $2 a day doing surveys for them, but I often do not qualify for those.
They do pay, I received my first $30 payment just the other day and I have over $35 more coming.
If you know of any other great Pay to Sign up or Pay to Click, I would be very interested. Especially if they don’t require Credit Cards.
Enjoy and good luck!

Income Strategy - Lately I have been very good about tracking what I have made as an income from survey sites and the like. I have actually set up a second savings account at my credit union and linked my paypal right to that.
My credit union will let me have multiple savings accounts under the same person without charging more and I can even name them. So far I just have Personal and Business, but I am also going to set up a Vacation one and a Home Repair one.
Every time I do a survey that I should be paid for, I do one of two things:
1. For when I didn’t make over $600 and didn’t have to claim taxes, this is what I did. Every time that I qualify for a survey and should be paid for it, I have a sub-folder set up in my email that has is called Surveys and then one for each month of the year. This works well for me, but may be too cumbersome for others. But, each time I qualify, I move the original email to the folder for the month that I took the survey. Then, every 60 days, I look two months back to verify that I have been paid for all the surveys. If I did get paid, I would just delete it.
2.Now that I make over $600, I have to pay taxes on it. So, I enter the survey on a spreadsheet with the survey company, date and time I took the survey and amount it was paid for. I also leave a column blank and once I have been paid by that company, I come and put an X or Check in that column, so I know. I verify every month that I was paid for surveys two months ago (usually I get paid 60 days or less, but every once in a while this is more). If I haven’t been paid by a company, I will send an email to follow up to the customer service.
I would love to hear other ideas, if you have any. Mine may not be the easiest for some, so I would love to hear how others do their tracking.

Do you usually claim your surveys/paid to’s as income, if you make $600 (and live in the US)?
This coming year will be my first that I should claim. Just wondered.
Do you know if you claim if the total is over $600 or if it’s $600 with ONE company alone?
Thanks so much!

Carrie, you should receive a 1099-MISC form from any survey panel that has paid you over $600 per calendar year. The basic rule is that you only have to claim your survey earnings if you make more than $600 per calendar year with any one panel, although technically the IRS says that you have to claim all your earnings. But like I said before, most survey panels only report your earnings to the IRS if they exceed the $600 value, but if you have any doubts check with a professional tax consultant.

My daughter was the first to turn me on to survey sites that offered prizes/gifts for taking surveys. However, I soon grew weary of offering my opinion for what I considered to be little trinkets and did an Internet search. That is when I came upon this site. I must give high praise to your site because it opened my eyes to the money-making opportunities of the survey world. I joined many of the money-paying sites (some gift certificate sites too) that you and your reviewers recommended. I must confess I take surveys for one reason and one reason only….I want to make some money. While I certainly have not gotten rich, I have been able to earn some cash to buy things, take trips and spoil myself with something special. So, Jim, your site ranks at the top of the list because of the information provided that leads me to only the best money-paying survey sites. For me, the top paying survey sites include SurveySpot, GlobalTestMarket, Survey Savy and Greenfield.

I have been making a good amount of money, gift cards (usually amazon) and some chances to win money or gift cards from different university sites. Some are not necessarily accepting new applicants right now, but here are some good ones to try. If they are not accepting new people right now, I would say it’s worth it to check back now and again for when they do open up.

I don’t know if this site fits into the category of making extra income per the contest rules. But it certainly has been helpful to me. Like your site leads me to good paying survey sites, this site leads me to instant win contests. http://www.myinstantwin.com is the best site (it’s free) I have found providing an up to date list of companies providing instant win contests that can be played online for cash and prizes. Just like the good paying survey sites require a lot of hard work and dedication to be successful, the same can be said of using myinstantwin to win cash and prizes. I spend a couple of hours each and every day reviewing the various contests and then registering and participating in the contests. In about a year’s time I have won a lot of prizes. Some I use and others I sell on ebay or craigslist or even the newspaper. That is where making money comes in. I have won prizes such as a wii game system, high-end fishing rod and reel, DVDs, video games, movie tickets, and gift cards of all kinds for cash, gas, food and other goods and services. I never thought there would be money to be made taking surveys and entering contests, but I am proof that it is possible with a little effort and perseverance.

My part-time career of making money online started in November of 2007. At that time I took three approaches to make money.
1) Added google adsense adds to my website which so far has made $0.00
2) Signed up for Amazon Turk performing a variety of tasks that included classifying webpages, reviewing web sites, and beta testing game. After three month’s I”ve made about $8. Most of these tasks pay very little. For example .02 for classifying web searches.
3) Signed up for surveys. This has easily earned me the most money. Currently I’ve only signed up for free memberships. Most of these memberships I’ve found at Online-Paid-Surveys.net. This site is great at providing up to date reviews of free survey memberships.

I will have to check that site out Jim. I did try signing up for win things before, but I haven’t heard of that site before and you are proof it works!
David, I haven’t tried the google adsense, but I don’t have a website. I have tried Amazon Turk, but like you mentioned, not very much pay for the tasks, so I haven’t done many. As for surveys, I totally agree with you. These sites on here are amazing. I have NEVER paid for a membership either to a survey site and I have done most every type of survey, focus group, product testing, online, phone, conference call/internet ones, etc. Keep up with the surveys and sign up for all the ones on this site and as many free ones that you hear good things about as possible. It’s true, the more the better chances in getting a good paying survey. I think I belong to about 100 companies now and make about $150-250 a month doing just an hour or so a day. Not great money, but it’s extra income and interesting to offer my advice.

In case anyone is curious to see what my website looks its address is http://mypcquickref.110mb.com/. It consists references to PC software and Tips I found interesting. It contains adsense ads on each page. As I stated earlier it has made $0.00.
Surveys continue to be the best at earning $
