I have only been a member of American Consumer Opinion Panel for over 6 months now, and in that short amount of time its has become one of the more reliable paid survey opportunities of my experience. Typically I receive 2-3 offers a month. Usually I receive a screener survey first and I am always told up front if I qualify to complete the longer paid survey. The screener surveys are short and only take a few minutes to complete. Usually I qualify for the longer survey. The surveys are well organized and easy to navigate. I have also gotten to test out a few products for them including one for a product that paid me $20 for my time.
When a survey is completed I receive payment by check usually within 7-10 days if that long. The one time I had to contact customer service because a survey had an error that prevented me from completing it, I received a response by the next day. The payment is always for the amount I was told up front. My only gripe with American Consumer Panel is that they don’t pay in Paypal which would be more convenient.

This is a nifty little survey site with a nifty and appealing site to go along. Although I have been a member for under a year, I have received surveys and have been paid. It does take some time, however, the payments do come (so who can complain, right?). I can say that they offer competitive rates for surveys when comparison is a factor, but there are not many surveys available from week to week. I have found it much easier to qualify, though, on random surveys. This one is a keeper and hopefully with increase their survey base.

I really like ACOP. It is nice that they are upfront about pre-qualifying people so that when you get a survey from them, you know you are going to qualify. In addition, I have also won sweeps money from them for taking the qualifier surveys. In the scheme of things, they tend to be a better paying site. I often qualify for, and get paid for, $10 surveys that are not overly long or tedious.

ACO is by far, one of the best survey sites out there.
I get alot of surveysfrom them, 4 a month, maybe more.
The surveys are very interesting, and very easy to do, not very time consuming.
Customer service is great, they respond quickly, and payments are right on time, and never a problem!
If i may, i highly reccommend ACO, one of the best!!

I think ACO is a very legitimate well known company. There surveys are not tedious and overly long and when you have completed a survey you realize for as quick and easy the survey is that the pay is good for the requested information. Surveys could be more frequent though as I do not feel they send out enough.

I have been a member with this company for at least 2 years and rarely get surveys from them. I don’t think I have had a paying one from them this year. I have had only 3 or 4 surveys even pre-qualifying me this year. It is the only survey company that I barely hear from.
Their website does not list any of their surveys either, so you can’t really look up if you have any that you can apply for.
I think this company is good if you actually get surveys, but it’s very frustrating to just to be part of and not get anything.

“American Consumer Opinion” makes you think that only americans can qualify, but if you read it with more detail, it’s for consumers that use american products, which would include everyone around the world. You might get frustrated because of how little surveys you recieve early on (for those of us not in the US, I imagine,) but eventually, when one does come, you’ll be pleased. The qualifying process is very outfront, so you’ll know whether or not you qualify, and the surveys aren’t overly-tedious. You’ll recieve fair payment within the month, sometimes within two weeks. A great survey panel for those patient ones, it’ll pay off. Recommended.

I have been a member of this panel for 8 months now and have received in total 1! survey.maybe it is because i live in backwater luxembourg that i do not receive a lot of them.The compensation is good but it takes ages to get here.by the time i had received it i had completely forgotten about ever taking a survey.The surveys themselves are probably the best i have ever filled in.

ACO was the very first survey site I joined over a year ago. I have waited to do a review because as much as I love them, I also don’t like them. I receive a survey MAYBE once a month. The whole time I have been with them, I have qualified for 3 surveys. However…they are very generous in their payments AND the payments arrive in the blink of an eye. I also won a random drawing and was compensated $10. So, I will keep doing their surveys, but wish I had better luck with them.

I joined this panel 5 months ago and since then have only received about 3-4 surveys. I qualified for none of them. I’m guessing they are either largely interested in demographics or else I just don’t have what they’re looking for in regards to their surveys.
Judging by all the reviews, this company is certainly worth trying, but don’t expect a whole lot of surveys.

I really enjoy ACO! Yes, I wish they sent more surveys, more often. However, it is always a nice and welcoming suprise to get a check in your mailbox. You don’t have to worry about points or redeeming anything, they just send you a check out for each survey that you qualify for, which is really nice !

In the past 3 months or so I have gotten involved in the online survey sites. I have been most impressed with American Consumer Opinion (ACO) site. The surveys come in at a steady flow and I usually qualify for most of them. Payments are the fastest out of all the survey sites I belong to. ACO is a very reliable source and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into this.

I have been a member of American Consumer Opinions for almost 1 year. In that time, I have only gotten a few surveys; maybe 1 per month and most of them I didn’t qualify for. Maybe you would have more luck, but at least the surveys are short and easy. Customer Service is also pretty good.

I wish that I would have more good things to say about American Consumer Opinion, but unfortunately, it has not been a very good survey panel for me. I’ve been a member of the site longer than any other one, at about 8 months, and on average, I only receive 1 or 2 invitations per month. Since that time, I have not qualified for any of them. If anything, the qualification surveys are quick and easy to fill out. On another note, the ACOP website doesn’t really offer much other than allowing you update your profile, which is a very quick process. The rest of the site is essentially just a bunch of information such as links and FAQs. There really isn’t much else I can say, and I don’t think my experience with site will change anytime soon. Don’t let this discourage you though. Try it out. You have nothing to lose, certainly not time. I spend less than 5 minutes a month doing surveys from this panel. You win some you lose some.

Well,I really appreciate this survey and according to me, the only thing that you need to rectify is to increase the number of important questions and thereby you can also increase the amount of payment and its timeliness. You can do a little bit of an increase in its frequency and i hope with a number of referals to this survey, it will greatly enhanced its quality in the right time.

I don’t get very invitations per month and only qualify for a few. Most of their surveys are easy and short but fairly compensated. Payment is received in only a few weeks.

I have been waiting and waiting for an invite to do some survey and yet i have received none. My rating will be a bit bias because i havent received any. If i will experience of at least answering a survey even twice, then i’ll let you know.

I have been a member of ACOP for 6 months, and receive a screening survey (which takes less than 5 minutes to complete and determines if you qualify for the paid survey) about once a week. I have only qualified for one survey out of all the screening surveys I have taken. The survey was extremely easy to complete (it only took me 10 minutes), and I was rewarded $4 for it — definitely one of the best compensations that I have received for a survey given the short time it took to complete. The money came by check in about 4 weeks. This one survey opportunity that I did have was extremely positive; however, I did waste some time completing those screening questions for surveys that I ended up not qualifying for.
One thing I like about ACOP is that you are automatically sent a check for every survey that you complete — unlike most other sites, there is no “Member area” where the rewards you earn are totaled and you can request payment. You just complete a survey, and a check is mailed to you in the next few weeks.
Given the easy payment process and the high quality surveys, I would recommend ACOP. However, you should be prepared to spend some time sifting through surveys that you won’t qualify for.

They have very interesting surveys and they pay above average for each survey. However, they only send me a survey about once a month, and I qualify about half the time. It takes about 4 weeks to receive a check from them. Overall, good company, just wish they would send surveys with more frequency.

I’ve been a member of ACOP for the past 12 months but I haven’t received a single survey and it has been very disappointing. They say that they’re open to International members but I think their targets are only from the USA, Canada and a few some other countries.
So, if you’re from the specified countries, it seems to be a great idea to join. If not, you can only earn cash in the affiliate program. Hope it will change again like in the old days…

A few surveys, but interesting ones, when I qualify, maybe I’m too old. I have younger acquaintances who get more surveys. I have tried a few products with acop or completed journal entries. Usually I get 4 or 5$ per completed survey. Once I got a 8$ check in my mail. I recommend it heartily.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE SITES YOU WONT GET A LOT OF SURVEYS HERE AND THEY HAVE RECENTENTLY BENN USING OTX AS THIER SURVEY GIVER SO YOU MAY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH QUALIFING.
WHEN YOU DO QUALIFY FOR A SURVEY THEY ARE USUALLY VERY GOOD AND THE COMPENSATION IS VERY GOOD.
I HAVE RECIEVED ABOUT $100.0 IN THE LAST SIX MONTHS AND I USUALLY GET A CHECK IN UNDER A MONTH I WOULD RECOMEND THIS SITE TO ANYBODY

A VERY GOOD SURVEY JUST GOT BETTER. THEY HAVE ALWAYS SENT ACHECK AS SOON AS A SURVEY WAS COMPLETED I ALWAYS GOT THE CHECK IN TWO TO THREE WEEKS NO MATTER WHAT THE AMOUNT WAS. NOW IN DECEMBER 2008 THEY WILL SET UP AN ACCOUNT FOR YOU AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCUMULATE YOUR EARNINGS AND WITHDRAW THEM WHEN YOU WANT TO. THIS IS ONE OF THE TOP TWO SURVEYS OUT THERE. I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE. THE SURVEYS ARE HIGH QUALITY AND THE COMPENSATION IS ABOVE MOST. I USUALY QUALIFY FOR ABOUT ONE IN THREE SURVEYS. Never enough surveys, about 1/mo. But the surveys are always time-considerate and payment is immediate. They seem to be changing with the types of surveys offered these days. The last couple I have received, I have to qualify. whereas in the past, I was always pre-qualified and so I always made sure to open email immediately. Now, not so much.

I joined the American Consumer Opinion site early this year and so far have been very happy. I have tested products from dog food to body wash and have gotten small checks from them as promised. This is a good site if you like to test products and give your opinion.

I registered in March. I already had a few pre-screen surveys, I qualified and I got an envelope in the mail on how to follow a 5 days long survey with my immediate family. I liked that, it’s been an interesting family activity and the pay is about to come. 8$. I still wait for an early payment of 4 dollars that has not arrived yet.

Their invitations are different as they come only to prescreen for the survey first, easy way, but if you really qualify they ask easy questions and send 4 or 8 dollars checks. Lately (15th of Dec) they have changed the rule and you accumulate points in your account. Since this happened I did not receive surveys. I had some fun with a few products I’ve tested at home.

I’ve been a member here for quite some time. I noticed that I had not receieved any surveys lately, so I went to their site to log in. When I do, it tells me that my e-mail address is not in the database. The site allowed me to register again, using my old info. Even after that, it continues to tell me that my e-mail address is not in the database. I sent them a couple of e-mails, but haven’t received a reply. Until now, I was satisfied with them.

I get very few survey offers but those that I receive are generally short and mainly to qualify for an upcoming survey. A small compensation is given on most. Overall I haven’t really received enough to give an honest opinion.

American Consumer Opinion panel, or ACOP, is definitely one of the Top 20 paid online survey companies. They send between one and three surveys per month at most and they are generally for $4 (up to $50 for an interactive survey) for a 10 to 20 minute survey.
You are now able to check your total earnings on their website and redeem your earnings as soon as $4 has been accumulated. Their checks always arrive promptly within four weeks.
They also sport the Better Business Bureau logo on their website, which is a good thing to look for on any survey company website. Any problems can be quickly resolved with an email to: aparks@acop.com
As noted frequently in reviews above, the primary complaint is that ACOP simply does not send out enough surveys, but the ones they do send are short, easy to complete and adequately compensated.

I would definitely say that American Consumer Opinion Panel (ACOP) is one of the topmost paying legitimate Survey Companies.
I became a member of American Consumer Opinion Panel(ACOP) since May, 2008 and have so far earned $154 from them. They send surveys through emails, and they pay through Checks.
Before sending out the actual survey they send out a Screener Questionaire first, and those who qualify that will receive the actual survey within a day or two.
They offer $4 to $50 as a reward for each surveys we successfully complete. They send out Checks for each survey individually, once the survey is closed, which may take upto 4-6 weeks.
They send us great surveys including Interactive Surveys as well as being a part of Online Discussion Forums. But, we are eligible to take their surveys only if we qualify the Screener Questionaire.
Even they send us surveys which result in evaluation of a Product, which can continue for several weeks, and for evaluating the product we get paid generously.
I would definitely recommend this Survey panel to everybody.

I have only received pre-screen surveys and have begun to suspect that they are using the pre-screen excuse to use your answers without compensation. I signed up approximately 6 mos. ago and have had 4 pre-screen surveys, therefore I rated timeliness of payment as average even though I haven’t received any.

I cannot rate this company in most areas because I have nothing to base the ratings on - therefore I gave them 5’s.
In the nearly three months since I joined I have received 1 survey invitation which I didn’t qualify for, 1 that I received only a sweepstake entry for, and 2 rather long “screeners” with no compensation.
I would not recommend this site. Others seem to have had better luck.

I’ve been a panelist of ACOP over 3 months and so far have pre- qualified and completed 1 survey. They credited me within a couple weeks which is better than average for surveys that don’t instantly get credited to your account.
Now if only the frequency of surveys would pick up I could increase that rating.
Update 6/28/2009
I took another pre-screener and qualified for another ACOP survey. Took it and was credited within 10 business days for $4. I upped their FOS rating to 4 from my last review.
Seems like I had a slow start with them but maybe that’s done. Now let’s see if 2 pre-screeners a month can be reached.
As always time will tell if a site is worth staying with. Most of my other sites have shown it so far. This one seems to be heading that way.
