Rewards: Market Points Redeemable for Cash
GlobalTestMarket is an international global consumer research panel sponsored by GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.) and it was founded in 1999. Membership to their panel is free, and they offer market points redeemable for cash for members that complete their online survey studies. Members that attempt, but do not qualify for studies are usually still rewarded with a small number of points. A member must accumulate 1000 points = $50 USD (international members will be rewarded in their currency based on the current exchange rate) to claim their earnings.
If you wish to see a sample earnings check, get more information about the average number of points offered per survey, and see our tips and comments please visit our GlobalTestMarket Editor’s Review Page.

Global test market has some good surveys and their surveys arejust right for a survey taker
First of all this company sends many, many surveys, but most of them are from a partner – usually OTX – and I only qualify for about 1 in 6. This is a huge waste of my time.
Yes, it’s nice that they give you a few points when you don’t qualify, but with a $50 cash-out, they have nothing to lose. Most people will give up before they get there and forfeit their points anyway. After 3 months I am only half way there.
Sometimes I am disqualified half way through a long survey. That is not right. And it is not because my answers are inconsistant, it is because they don’t like the answer. They could screen people out a lot sooner.
Lastly, there is no place on the website to see which surveys you completed and how many points were awarded. You have to keep track of your points and see how much your total goes up each time. Sometimes it even goes down!
I dont know if i am a lucky guy:),i received 3-4 surveys per week.and i often done it very well.i had earned 150$ check from GTM.
very nice survey site.i love it.
it’s a good survey
When I first joined this website,(which was the first online paying website I ever joined I was skeptical about it. The way the website looked kept me suspicious. I decided to give it a try and it was better than what I expected. About 3 times a week they send me surveys. The surveys are way too long, so when they give me a survey, I don’t want to do it for a few marketpoints. The best part is that its free and ages 14 and up can join with parental permission. I usually qualify except the movie surveys. It takes a long time to get up to 1000 points since they give you like 35-50 points per long survey. Overall, its a good survey website and its really recommended for the people who want a little extra cash. They give you $50 dollars!! That’s awesome. So go sign up and win some extra cash!
I have been a member for more than a year and I can say that there is a regular influx of surveys coming in. Some of it I get qualified some of it, I dont. As for payment, I haven’t had a chance to claim one.But I know someday I will so I’ll continue with them.
I highly recommend this survey site. I have not had any problems with any of the surveys that I have taken nor have I had any problems with payments.
I’ve made a relative bundle on GTM. There is one problem. GTM sends to many OTX surveys. OTX is oD us. You spend time and get nowhere. I’ve done high paying surveys and interactive things through GTM, and In about four years, I’ve made $800 of them. You’d do well to try these guys, but if OTX pops up, you’ll be put in a loop and waste your time.
I have got into a couple of online interactives with these folke, and if you can stick an hour of bollocks from nitwits and provide an intelligent opinion, you can make $20-30 for a halfway entertaining hour.
It’s a quite fair panel and you can make a little ready cash.
I would say that this is a great survey panel and it’s the only one I actually received a check from, I received my first $50 check last week. I do wish that I qualified for more of the surveys though and I also wish I could redeem my points faster because it seems like it took so long before I actually was able to redeem my $50 but overall this is a great survey panel and I like being a member with them!
I have made several hundred dollars over the past few years with this survey panel. They have recently changed their reward system, however, and not for the better. Previously, you received points even when you didn’t qualify to complete a survey. Even though it was only 5 points (the equivalent of a quarter) it will still a nice sign that they valued your time. Now, instead of points, a large portion of their surveys offer only sweepstakes entries, even when you complete a survey. Personally, I don’t find sweepstakes entries to be appropriate compensation for half an hour of my time.
I sent feedback to their helpdesk inquiring whether this was going to be a permanent change in their reward system. Although the customer service rep who responded was prompt and friendly, he didn’t actually address my issue. He merely explained the screening process, which I hadn’t asked anything about. A follow-up question garnered a better response – he said that “most” of their surveys still award Marketpoints. From my experience of the past month, I’d say it’s more like half. Of course this means that it will take significantly longer to reach the 1000 points necessary for reward redemption. Hopefully, if more people express disappointment, they will return to their previous system of definite rewards instead of sweepstakes entries.
They send you surveys and even you completed for more than 15 min., they may say you are disqualified and wasted your time. They give very low points (around 30 or less for each survey) and you can redeem only after you reach 1,000 points, which means you have to wait forever.
This is another one of the few panels I am a member of. I will agree that the surveys do come often and that they are decent. Plus, if you don’t qualify, you usually get 5 points anyway. The down side, for me, is that qualification is hit or miss and I’ve gotten a lot of surveys that you only receive sweepstakes entries for. I’ve been doing those for the heck of it but not anymore! Not after the one I got last night! I probably spent almost an hour going through an incredibly lengthly survey – that I refused to finish – that was in No way worth just a sweepstakes entry. I will continue to stay a member because I like that 1000pts = $50, but will only participate in surveys for points.
