Synovate conducts market research studies in many different market sectors worldwide. Global Opinions Panels is the name of their online panel and is one of the mechanisms they use to conduct and collect market research.

Program Details and Our Suggestions

Getting Started. Once you sign up to become a member, you will gain access to the Online Global Panels members page. The members site gives you access to your contact information, your member profiles and completed survey history, your points balance and reward redemption history, answers to common questions, and a referral page where you can earn 2000 points for each friend your refer. Our first recommendation is to fill out the the profile section in the members area. These profile surveys are not rewarded, but are quick to fill out, and will enable Synovate to match you up with more survey offers, specifically those that are suitable for you.

What to expect? Synovate will automatically email you survey invitations that they feel may be a close match to your profile, but you can also access your current surveys from the member's area in the My Surveys section. Each invitation will indicate the points that you can earn for attempting the survey and the subject of the survey. If you take and complete the survey you are rewarded the points advertised and you receive one entry for there monthly sweepstakes. If you attempt, but do not qualify for a survey you are usually rewarded a minimal amount of points and you still receive an entry for their monthy sweepstakes entry. Synovate has over 200 Sweepstakes winners per month, where a total of $5000 dollars is rewarded each month for US members. Sweepstakes Rewards vary for other nations. The amount of surveys you will receive depends on your profile and the current studies being conducted, but in general you should expect one to two survey invitations a week.

The good thing about Synovate's Global Opinions Panels is that all of their surveys are rewarded with cash incentives, and they usually give you a minimum amount of points and a sweepstakes entry even if you do not qualify for the survey. Once you have accumulated 5000 points you can go to the My Rewards area in the members section and redeem your points for cash. Payment is delivered via mail in the form of a check for US Members. Delivery times range from 6-8 weeks. Here is an example of a $25 check I received for redeeming 25000 points.

Our Advice: Since you may not qualify for all of the surveys, and since Synovate offer an incentive and a sweepstakes entry for just attempting the survey, we recommend that you take as many surveys as can. If your schedule does not permit this, then take as many surveys as possible. Try to focus on the subjects that are of most interest to you, since you will most likely have a better chance to qualify for these. If you are not getting many surveys, check your profiles section, and make sure they are completed and up to date. As always, I recommend that you answer the surveys honestly, and to take time to answer them correctly. Rushing through the surveys will often cause you to overlook something and as a result not qualify for the survey. The better your responses, the more likely it is that you will be invited to take future paid surveys.
